We are excited to announce another talented addition to the Commercial Properties team! Judy Wityszyn has joined us as the Leasing Specialist.

As a way to get acquainted, we asked Judy a few quick questions…

Tell us a bit about your background!

I was born in Saint John and grew up on the Kingston Peninsula. I graduated from Saint John High and left to go to Carleton University. I returned briefly after graduation, worked for Enterprise Saint John, and landed a role with IBM that had me transferred to Toronto 2 years later where I stayed for 20 years. I held various roles in customer service, operations, marketing, solution selling and outsourcing. During this time, I also raised 2 sons who are my pride and joy and volunteered in ways that kept me engaged with the boys activities. In January 2019 I was happy to return to Saint John as Senior Executive Assistant for John Irving. Fast forward and I am now enjoying my time with Commercial Properties, volunteering as a board Director with the Centre for Youth Care as well as the Sophia Recovery Centre.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy travelling, volunteering, spending time with my partner and my family, and renovating our 1952 home. Most recently we purchased e-bikes, so I love that this offers opportunities to be outside, close to the water, and exploring new areas of Saint John.

What excites you about working at Commercial Properties?

I like helping our tenants be successful – some being part of the Ocean Capital group of families. Our spaces become their homes and the décor, the care, the functionality, and the overall feeling they get when they are in these spaces contribute to them being productive and successful. I also like that it’s a small but powerful team.

Which Commercial Properties building is your favorite and why?

This is a tough one! I’ve just started to become familiar with our properties and they are each special in different ways. I really like any of the older buildings that have been restored, but the spaces in Commerce Place that were recently renovated are modern and fresh and the newest acquisition, the historic home on Alma in Moncton, has the charm I love the most.
