Our Story

In 1967 Commercial Properties Limited welcomed tenants to the newly constructed Brunswick House office tower in Saint John NB.

In 2017, we were proud to recognize three of our original tenants, who have been with us for over fifty years now (Blog Story).  During that time, our portfolio and expertise has grown, encompassing over one million square feet of space under management, primarily in Atlantic Canada.

Our property portfolio includes Class A and Class B office space as well as Commercial and Industrial Warehouse space in many Maritime communities. We are also pleased to develop and build commercial real estate projects. To date we have developed, built and leased prime office, retail and light industrial locations throughout Eastern Canada, and continue to look for new opportunities.

Our business is focused on high quality property management, for our own buildings and for others. The facilities and service we provide make it easy for our clients to work in comfortable and productive work spaces.

Environmental responsibility and efficient management of resources is important to building owners and tenants, and to our society. As part of our management practice, we maintain ongoing certification of our major buildings under the BOMA BEST sustainable buildings program. We are proud to have been a regional leader in this, with eight properties certified since 2009, including Atlantic Canada’s first privately owned LEED building.

Another source of pride for us is our experience in restoration and preservation of heritage buildings. Some of our historic buildings, originally built in the nineteenth century, have been re-purposed into modern multi-use structures that will endure for future generations.
