Boiler Replacement at Brunswick House

Boiler at Brunswick HouseBrunswick House, one of the centerpieces of Saint John’s uptown skyline and home to several major financial, legal and consulting firms, has a new heating plant.  Commercial Properties has replaced the two fifty-year-old boilers in the basement with Lochinvar Crest high-efficiency condensing boilers that use natural gas to provide cost-effective heat to all corners of the property.

We at Commercial Properties are committed to maintaining operational efficiency in our buildings, and the installation of these new boilers will go a long way toward ensuring that we meet these goals in Brunswick House.  The new boilers are less likely to lose heat due to equipment or software failure, and provide greater efficiency in load sharing.  This leads to energy savings with reduced costs for our tenants and reduced GHG (Green House Gas) emissions for our environment.

We will be continuing to make further improvements to building controls that will allow us to take full advantage of all this new system can do to help keep the building warm during our Atlantic Canada winters.  On behalf of our tenants, we are pleased to implement these improvements representing a half century of mechanical and software advancements in the heating industry.
